40ft Standard Used Shipping Container

The 40ft Standard CW is what we hand to customers who need volume without paying for finishes they’re going to cover anyway. CSC-stamped, square-framed, with doors that swing and gaskets that seal - and 304 sq ft of floor that’s usually plenty for a maker space, two-bay garage shop, or bulk equipment storage out on a ranch property.

The Standard 8'6" exterior height keeps it under most local accessory-structure rules, and the 11-foot-plus interior length on each side wall gives you real room to lay out workbenches, hang pegboard, and still walk a sheet of plywood from one end to the other without rotating it. We sell a lot of these to contractors using them as semi-permanent jobsite storage along the E-470 build-out corridor, and to outdoor-recreation customers stowing UTVs and toy haulers in Bennett and Watkins.

For habitable conversions the standard ceiling height is the catch - once you insulate, you’re under 7'3" of headroom. That’s why we steer ADU and tiny-home customers toward the 40ft HC instead. For everything else where the build is functional, the Standard CW is the budget-smart workhorse.
