Who Runs the Yard Behind Your Container

Local to Aurora, friendly to builders, and obsessed with the steel boxes people actually live and work inside.

How We Got Here

An Aurora yard, run by people who actually build.

Back in 2010 it was just a small lot off East Colfax and one tilt-bed truck. Anyone trying to source a used shipping container around Aurora back then was looking at a day of unreturned voicemails, opaque pricing, and a surprise patch of rust waiting on the drop-off date. Homeowners and contractors needed a saner option, so we built one.

A decade and a half on, the address hasn't changed and neither has the mission: steel boxes that turn into something useful. Tiny houses off Quincy, ADUs across old Aurora, garden offices down in Centennial, short-term rentals tucked along I-70 - every unit leaving our gate gets a conversion-minded once-over: floor that holds weight, frame that's square, corrugation clean enough for insulation to seat right.

To us, a container isn't really a box - it's the bones of someone's future studio, ADU, or workshop. That's why a former custom-home builder and a marine-grade welder both work this yard.

What We Stand On

The same rules apply whether you're grabbing a single 20-footer or rolling four units onto a job site.

Inspected, Not Just Listed

No unit clears the gate until the frame, floor, and doors have been physically checked by a person who knows what to look for.

Conversion Language Fluent

Talk to us about headroom after insulation, stud offsets, or torch-cutting corten - you'll get a real answer, not a brochure quote.

Numbers Up Front

Unit price, freight to your gate, and Colorado tax all show on the same line-item quote. No "call for details," no padded yard fees.

Drop-Off in Days, Not Weeks

Most Denver-metro deliveries land 3–7 business days after sign-off. The inventory is already here in Aurora - nothing to railfreight from a coast.

The People at the Yard

Who answers your email, walks the rows, and climbs into the truck cab on delivery day.

Carpenter by trade, container guy by accident. Opened the gate in 2010 once his own backyard ADU off Quincy was finished and neighbors kept asking where he got the steel.
